What is the O-Shot?

The O-Shot (as in “orgasm”) is a minimally invasive sexual rejuvenation treatment for women performed with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the patient’s own blood.

What should I expect during my O-Shot treatment?

Your provider will use a syringe to take a small amount of blood from your arm much like a routine blood draw. We will then separate the platelets from the red and white blood cells using a specialized centrifuge.

Dr. Stanislaus will inject the PRP into precise points around your clitoris and/or inside the front wall of your vagina near the G-spot and urethra, depending on the concerns she is addressing.

What is recovery like after the O-Shot?

No downtime is needed, so you can return to your regular everyday activities, including sexual intercourse, the same day. You will feeling some stinging and/or tingling for a few hours.

How many treatments will I need?

Most patients need a single treatment, but some choose to have additional treatments spaced 2 months apart to optimize results.

When will I notice the results?

While you may initially have increased sensitivity from the injections themselves, the regenerative process takes about 2 to 4 weeks for blood flow to improve and tissues to rejuvenate and become firmer and more elastic.

How long do O-Shot results last?

Improvements typically last a year and can be maintained with additional treatments.
