Laser skin treatment can be an effective way to fight the signs of aging and other skin conditions that impact a woman’s confidence and daily life. Stanislaus Integrative Wellness offers several BBL laser skin treatment systems to solve various issues. Our team can help you figure out which treatment or combination of treatments is right for you. We also offer specialized laser treatments for acne, melasma, and tattoo removal.

Dr. Stanislaus Says

"While treating wrinkles can help you look younger, skin texture and tone should not be overlooked. These treatments use light and laser energy to restore radiant, firm skin that looks and feels more youthful."

Laser skin therapy can be used to decrease or eliminate:

  • Acne
  • Rosacea
  • Scars
  • Freckles
  • Sunspots
  • Age spots
  • Broken blood vessels
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Sagging skin
  • Wrinkles and creases

How does BBL laser treatment work?

BBL laser skin treatment works through a process of selective photothermolysis. The light emitted during treatment penetrates skin and precisely targets a structure or tissue. That light energy is then selectively absorbed by those specific tissues. During skin rejuvenation treatment, heating the deeper dermal tissue stimulates fibroblasts to repair and rebuild collagen for firmer, smoother skin.

For those fighting age spots, freckles, melasma and other causes of blotchy or uneven skin tone, the light emitted by BBL targets melanin to destroy the darker cells causing discoloration. BBL can also be targeted to destroy hemoglobin, which contributes to redness of the skin caused by small blood vessels near the surface. When cells containing a lot of melanin or hemoglobin are hit with BBL energy, they heat up and are destroyed in a fraction of a second. BBL energy also treats acne by killing bacteria beneath the skin’s surface and reducing inflammation.

Because these treatments are non-ablative, meaning they don’t damage or burn the top layer of skin, you can combine laser treatment with other anti-aging skin treatment such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels and others that target the outermost layer of the skin.

What to expect from your laser treatment

Today’s laser skin treatments are generally relatively painless and require no downtime. The brief sessions can be performed in-office in just minutes. More intense needs and longer sessions may cause discomfort and some recovery time.
Many patients see an improvement in their skin tone and texture after just one laser treatment session, but the number and duration of treatments needed varies with the patient’s skin and their goals. Overall, laser skin treatments are a safe and effective way to reduce wrinkles, improve sagging and create an overall younger appearance.

Halo LogoHalo: Laser skin treatment for firmer skin

The Halo™ laser skin treatment tightens and smooths skin by gradually and subtly building up the tissue layers beneath the skin’s surface. Treatment delivers quick pulses of energy deep into tissues to stimulate collagen production, creating firmer, younger-looking skin from the inside out.

Halo by Sciton is the world’s first and only hybrid fractional laser. This exciting new laser skin treatment technology combines the benefits of non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to deliver precise results with a much easier and quicker healing experience than any other laser on the market today. The dual wavelengths unique to the Halo laser allow us to completely customize each patient’s treatment.

How does Halo laser treatment work?

The Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser delivers both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to microscopic treatment zones. This gives Halo the unique ability to provide separate treatments for the epidermis (the skin surface), which heals quickly, and the dermis (the deeper, collagen layer of skin), which remodels more slowly over time. This dual-wavelength feature means that you can attain great results with minimal downtime.

Forever Young BBL: Fight the signs of aging.

No one likes to face aging, especially on their face! Years of sun exposure, repeated weight loss and weight gain and stress begin to show as our skin loses its youthful ability to repair damage at the surface and firmness in the deeper layers of the skin. This can mean fine lines and wrinkles, uneven tone, sun damage, melasma, a red or flushed appearance or broken capillaries.

Forever Young BBL™ laser skin treatment, or broadband light treatment, can effectively fight the signs of aging not only on the face, but also on arms, chest, legs and hands. The non-invasive, non-ablative treatment can provide results comparable to those of laser resurfacing and chemical peel—with less discomfort and little to no recovery time.

Photofacial therapy stimulates a resurfacing of the skin with new, fresh cells to balance tone and complexion. Areas that receive a lot of sun exposure, such as the face, neck, tops of the hands, chest and shoulders are all good candidates for improvement with BBL laser skin treatment.

As the skin repairs itself with new cells from the inside out, you will see a gradual decrease in redness, broken capillaries, irregular pigmentation, brown spots, pore size and fine lines. After each treatment, the skin will feel smoother and have a more even tone.

Forever Clear BBL: Clear Acne.

Forever Clear BBL laser skin treatment uses three different BBL light frequencies to fully treat the root causes of acne and to promote healing. The first step is blue BBL light. This eliminates acne-causing bacteria deep down in the pores. Then, using a yellow BBL light, we reduce the inflammation and redness caused by acne to give you healthy, radiant skin.
